Michael Silver
Soccer Representative
Michael Silver was was appointed to the LHSOA Executive Committee in 2010 as one of two soccer representatives. He was also appointed as the Louisiana State Referee Committee Chairperson for Louisiana Soccer & US Soccer in the fall of 2018 and has served on the committee since the spring of 2010. He is a past member of the LHSAA Executive Committee.
Michael has been a soccer official in Louisiana for 23 years as a member of the Cenla Soccer Referee Association in Alexandria, officiating USSF, high school, and collegiate contests. He has served as the Regional Coordinator of Officials for high school soccer since 2010 and for high school basketball since 2014, and also serves as an instructor and assessor.
Professionally, Michael is the Chief Operating Officer of a local telephony, cabling, and IT/managed services company and resides in Alexandria, Louisiana.
